Ron Zammit is a Sarasota staple, and Beautiful Cakes by Ron is a local institution.  One look at the website (beautifulcakesbyron.com), is enough to make anyone gasp and drool.  I had the pleasure of attending a birthday party last weekend with a cupcakie and cookie extravaganza designed by another Zammit... Ron's son, Nathan.  Sparing no attention to detail, Nathan crafted some ridiculously tasty treats, keeping both the kids and the adults in mind.  I mean, seriously, I thought my wedding cake was pretty, but this display totally knocked my socks off.  Worried about the price of such a decadent treat?  Don't be.  Nathan and I were chatting, and his prices are lower than the local average.  He couldn't believe what some of the other shops were charging!

So to sum up: gorgeous, tasty, affordable and limited only by you and your imagination.  Seriously.  He can make anything in almost any shape, size and flavor.  Prices vary upon your needs, but think in the $3-$5 range per cookie and cupcake.  Oh, and here's the best part: Nathan is opening up his own spot (hopefully in October)!  Within their current location, there are rumors of possible cookie/cupcake decorating parties!  Call him with any questions, comments, or compliments!
